Strange noir murder mystery adventure

I Was a Vegas Showgirl is an indie game adventure, where you have to guide Sissy O'Leary on a mission to steal a Stetson Hat.

Presented in funny 3D graphics, with a jazz soundtrack and text, I Was a Vegas Showgirl is a pretty standard adventure game. It's all keyboard controlled, which is unusual, but otherwise it's pretty ordinary. You look around the environments, finding objects and talking to people to solve puzzles and move the story on.

I Was a Vegas Showgirl is a short adventure game, but still suffers from a couple of annoyingly slow features. You cannot advance text, so you're left to read the conversations at the same speed. When you need to repeat something to figure out a puzzle, it can get pretty tiresome. The slowness of I Was a Vegas Showgirl is a pity, as it's an amusing little project that would be much better with a bit more zip.

If you're a fan of games like the Sam & Max series, you might enjoy I Was a Vegas Showgirl, although it can be frustrating at times.
